Frank Onyeka has been named among the nominees for Coventry City’s Goal of the Season award, according to reports from a leading sports outlet. The Nigeria international’s first-time volley against Derby County in the thrilling 3-2 victory on matchday 40 looped over the goalkeeper and into the top corner. It marked Onyeka’s first club goal since March, when he found the net for Brentford against Sheffield United. He joined the Sky Blues on loan in January and looks set to complete a permanent move following Coventry’s promotion.
