Oriire Abductors Plead Guilty to Terrorism Charges in Abuja
Three men accused of abducting schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire LGA of Oyo State have admitted guilt before the Federal High Court in Abuja. The defendants – Abdulrazak Umar (aka Abu Khalifa), Yunusa Musa (aka Yunusa bin Musa) and Shamsu Adamu Sani (aka Abu Itisar) – pleaded guilty to terrorism-related counts during proceedings before Justice Salim Ibrahim. Arrested by the Department of State Services on a 10-count charge, all three men admitted guilt to counts four and six. Umar also confessed to four additional counts relating to withholding information about fellow suspects between January and May.
