JAMB Reschedules 2026 UTME to 7:00 AM and Enforces Strict Exam-Day Dress Code

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has moved the 2026 UTME first-session arrival time from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM for exams running April 16–25, 2026. Candidates do not need new slips as existing documents remain valid under the revised schedule. Arrivals by 7:00 AM are mandatory for registration, identity checks, and security screening. Exams will start at 8:30 AM and end at 10:30 AM. Late arrivals risk denial of entry. JAMB also introduced a tighter dress code to maintain hall decorum. Candidates should wear plain attire without logos, metallic items, jewelry, or other accessories that might trigger security alarms.
