Atiku Says Obasanjo’s Claims Are Meant to Influence the 2027 Race
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s allegations against him as politically motivated and unfair to the late Ghali Umar Na’Abba, who can no longer respond. In a statement by his media aide, Atiku said Obasanjo should have raised the claims while Na’Abba was alive if there was any proof. He argued that the accusations are being revived to shape the 2027 political race and damage his reputation. Atiku also said Nigerians are more concerned about hardship, insecurity, unemployment and rising food prices. He urged leaders to focus on today’s problems instead of reopening old political battles.
