Regal Return: Farooq Oreagba’s Pre-Ojude Oba 2026 Fashion Showcase
Farooq Oreagba has unveiled his 2026 Ojude Oba festival images. He’s known as the “King of Steeze” for his refined sense of style. He wears a tailored Agbada in premium Asọ-Ọkè fabric. The navy blue bùbá features geometric cream embroidery, layered under an indigo, crimson, and cream striped outer robe with lattice detailing. His look is completed with a pleated Fìlà Gbobà, silver chains, statement rings, aviator glasses, and an ornate gold-handled cane. Posed next to a brown horse, each shot blends royal portraiture with a fashion editorial vibe. Ojude Oba is a heritage festival held annually in Ijebu-Ode to honour the Awujale. It’s known for horsemanship, age-grade processions, and spectacular traditional fashion. The 2026 edition is set for 28–29 May.
