Tinubu Vows Relentless Push for Nigeria’s Greatness, Reaffirms Support for Diaspora in Rwanda
President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians living in Rwanda that his administration will keep creating opportunities for citizens at home and abroad. Speaking at an interactive session in Kigali, he said ongoing reforms aim to reposition the economy and tackle barriers to success. The delegation included academics, entrepreneurs and students shining in sectors such as technology, education and hospitality. Tinubu praised them as worthy ambassadors for respecting local laws and contributing to pan-African development. He pledged a transparent, inclusive government that treats every Nigerian equally, regardless of tribe or religion. He urged diaspora members to uphold unity under the Green-White-Green flag and not allow ethnic divisions to define them. Tinubu directed Nigeria’s Charge d’Affaires in Rwanda to collaborate with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission on passport renewals and consular services. Delegates welcomed this move, and former NBA executive Michael Ujiri offered to support the development of modern sports infrastructure in Nigeria.
