Premiere Academy Students Shine with ₦250,000 Prizes at Abuja National Music Competition
The finals of the 6th Abuja National Music Competition were held over the weekend. Schools from the FCT and other states competed in vocal and instrumental categories for cash and prizes. Premiere Academy’s Jaja Soibifaa and Iwugo Michael emerged as Star winners in the Vocal and Piano categories. Each student took home the ₦250,000 top prize in their discipline. The competition, open to students aged 6–18, aims to revive the authenticity of Nigerian music. It showcases exceptional talents, provides professional mentorship, and offers a platform for exposure before an expert jury. Mr. Israel Olorundare, Premiere Academy’s Music Instructor, praised the students’ performances and thanked the school management and staff for their support in achieving these outstanding results.
