Police Arrest Two, Seize Firearms and Cutlasses in Keffi, Nasarawa State

The Police Command in Nasarawa State has arrested two men in Keffi Local Government Area. They face charges of criminal conspiracy, trespass, theft and unlawful possession of firearms. A police spokesperson said the operation followed a report that one suspect had unlawfully entered a resident’s room and fled with an Android phone. Detectives mounted an intelligence-led raid that led to the arrests and recovery of a locally made pistol with a live cartridge, two cutlasses, a knife, three mobile phones and other incriminating items. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue. The Commissioner of Police commended the swift and professional response of the officers. Residents are urged to keep providing credible information to help combat crime across the state.
