FG Panel Reveals Bobrisky’s Luxurious Prison Conditions Including Soundproof Cell and Gadgets
An investigative panel set up by the Federal Government found that Bobrisky spent six months in Kirikiri Prison in private cells furnished with a personal toilet, bathroom, television, fridge, carpet and humidifier. The report also says he had access to mobile phones despite regulations prohibiting them. At the Maximum Security Custodial Centre, his cell featured wallpaper, a large bed, television and humidifier. A staff member attended to his needs, and he could receive visitors and meals at any time. The panel noted a unique soundproof door on his cell and has recommended further investigations into how these privileges were granted and into alleged data privacy violations by the social media activist who raised the claims.
