Dangote Cuts Premium Motor Spirit Price by ₦75 per Litre
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has trimmed its gantry price for Premium Motor Spirit by ₦75 per litre. The new rate is now ₦1,175, down from ₦1,250. The coastal price per metric tonne also dropped from ₦1,595,790 to ₦1,495,215. The refinery cited easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and a subsequent fall in global crude oil prices as the driving factor. A circular sent to fuel marketers noted that all outstanding uncollected volumes will be repriced under this structure. The new rates take effect from midnight on June 16, 2026.
