Jos North Curfew Eased as Plateau State Government Announces New Hours

Jos North Curfew Eased as Plateau State Government Announces New Hours

Following a period of relative calm after the recent attack in Angwan Rukuba, the Plateau State Government has announced a revision of the curfew in Jos North Local Government Area. Effective April 1, 2026, the curfew will run daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During these hours, residents may resume their lawful activities. Security agencies will maintain patrols to safeguard peace and order. The government urges citizens to stay vigilant and law-abiding as efforts continue to protect lives and property across the state. We appreciate the public’s cooperation and resilience during this time. Signed by Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, mni, Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communication, Plateau State Government.
