Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to Build 10,000 Homes and Create 300,000 Jobs
President Bola Tinubu has announced plans to deliver over 10,000 housing units across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory. He made the pledge at the opening of the 20th Africa International Housing Show in Abuja, represented by SGF Senator George Akume. The Renewed Hope Agenda is shifting from policy aspirations to measurable implementation. Major projects in Abuja, Lagos and Kano are already underway. Additional housing estates and new cities are planned across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. The government views housing as an economic asset, a driver of productivity and a source of dignity. Reforms will improve land administration, financing frameworks and project transparency. Local and international investors are invited to partner on large-scale housing delivery.
