Szoboszlai Commits Future to Liverpool with Five-Year Extension

Dominik Szoboszlai has sealed a new five-year deal with Liverpool, keeping the Hungary international at Anfield until 2029. The midfielder, now entering his fourth season with the Reds, spoke of his delight after finalising the contract. “I’m so happy to be here,” Szoboszlai said, ranking this moment among the highlights of his career alongside joining the club and becoming a father. He added that his ambition remains unchanged: to win every trophy possible, including the Champions League. Since moving from RB Leipzig in 2023, Szoboszlai has made 147 appearances and scored 28 goals. He played a key role in Liverpool’s 2024/25 title-winning campaign and was named the club’s player of the year last season.
