NDC Senatorial Aspirant Alleges ₦20M Scam, Files EFCC Petition
I joined a Twitter space on June 8, 2026 and heard a disturbing claim against the NDC. A senatorial aspirant paid ₦3 million for his interest form, then travelled to Abuja for screening. There, he was asked for bank statements, property details and capacity proof. The committee then demanded an extra ₦20,000,000 into an FCMB account under the party’s name. He paid and was shut out. Now he wants his money back and has filed a petition at the EFCC. Dozens of other aspirants nationwide face the same pressure but signed no-lawsuit agreements. Why did the party require a no-lawsuit pledge? Who benefits from these extra payments? I have more documents but will await the NDC’s response first.
