Woman Dumps Husband After Four Pregnancies, Cites Body Shaming and Attempt to ‘Number’ Her

Woman Dumps Husband After Four Pregnancies, Cites Body Shaming and Attempt to ‘Number’ Her — 1 of 2
1 / 2

A Nigerian woman has called out her estranged husband on Facebook after a difficult five-year marriage. She says she got pregnant and gave birth to four children, none of them twins, without any support. Her mother was only present for the first birth; the rest she endured alone, crying and begging her husband for a nanny, but he refused. She accuses him of constant body shaming, saying he insulted her weight and told her her breasts were sagging—even as he kept her pregnant almost every year. She also claims he hinted at taking another wife, telling her he wanted to “number” her after she had already built a home with him. Fed up, she says she has now left him. “You wanted to number me after I built with you,” she wrote. “I am happy I dumped you. For my kids, I am coming for them.”
