Why Nigeria Needs a Lifetime Two-Term Electoral Limit

My fellow citizens, public office should not become a personal inheritance or long-term residence. Democracy thrives on fresh ideas, new leaders, and broader participation. Under this directive, no one may win an election more than twice in their lifetime, at any level—from ward councillor to president. A national register will track every successful election and enforce the rule. After two wins, former officeholders remain free to vote, advise, campaign, or serve in appointed roles. This policy takes effect immediately and applies to all future contests. If you have served twice, the nation thanks you and invites new voices to step forward.
