A Florida sheriff’s deputy allegedly kidnapped and killed his former partner before taking his own life after an argument over a television, authorities said. The mother had just returned from the beach with her two children, aged 9 and 12, when the deputy reportedly confronted her outside her home. She told the children to run indoors and call emergency services as the dispute escalated. Police later tracked the deputy’s rental car to a nearby area, where both adults were found dead from gunshot wounds. The children are now in the care of their biological father, while authorities continue their investigation.
