Dangote Cuts Petrol Gantry Price to ₦1,200 Amid Global Oil Uncertainty

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has lowered its gantry price for Premium Motor Spirit to ₦1,200 per litre. The coastal rate now stands at ₦1,153 per litre. According to the group’s spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, the downward review reflects current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and their impact on global oil prices. He noted that the adjustment will influence landing costs for local marketers and offer alternative supply routes for distributors along the southern coast. Marketers sourcing locally are expected to reassess their cost structures, while coastal deliveries may ease supply to southern depots.
