Osun Declares Tuesday Work-Free for Civil Servants to Collect PVCs

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared Tuesday a work-free day for state civil servants to collect their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the August 15 governorship election. The directive covers workers in the state civil service, local governments and tertiary institutions. Workers providing essential services, including health personnel and security operatives, are expected to make arrangements to keep services running. The governor urged public servants, informal-sector workers and other registered voters to visit their designated collection centres promptly, stressing that PVC collection is vital to participation in the election and future polls.
