Why Do I Keep Vomiting Every Time I Eat? Help Needed

I’ve been vomiting just minutes after I start eating for over two years. Sometimes I hiccup before vomiting, and drinking water before or during meals triggers it too. The vomit comes out with full force. A pharmacist friend said it was "warm" and gave me medicine. That helped for two weeks, but the problem returned. Now I only eat once a day at night, and I still vomit while eating. After I vomit, I can eat and drink normally. I’ve stopped alcohol and smoking since this started. I’ve slimmed down and I’m really scared. I’ve done tests and was told I’m okay, but I haven’t seen a doctor yet. I plan to visit the hospital today. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this or what I should do next?

Vomiting every time you eat for two years sounds extreme, especially if occasional hiccups kick it off before you even swallow.

I see where you're coming from, daily vomiting does sound unlikely unless something else's at play.

I'm not convinced that just one pharmacist's "warm" diagnosis and medicine can explain such a persistent problem.

It might help to keep a detailed food and symptom diary, then share it with a gastroenterologist for targeted tests.
