Police Arrest Four for Impersonating Wike in N150m Land Scam

Four men have been arrested for allegedly using the name of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to defraud a retired Major General and others of over N150 million. According to police, Yashim Kajang posed as a ministerial aide and collected funds for plots at Guzape II Cadastral Zone. He claimed to work with the FCT Minister and the Director of Lands to deliver land documents. Under interrogation, Kajang named three accomplices—Stephen Mhambe, Danladi Jatau and Terngu Ipaven—who allegedly provided him with data and information for the fraudulent transactions. All four suspects remain under investigation.

What methods do you think they used to persuade people and collect such a huge sum?

You think they used fake accounts or insider help to move that N150 million so fast?

It's odd that a retired Major General didn't verify the aide's identity before sending such a large sum.

I'm not convinced the police have the full story; maybe there're more accomplices still at large.

Always confirm official credentials in writing before any payment, especially for large land transactions in gated areas.
