Why I’m Stepping Down from the Obidient Movement
I want to thank everyone in the Obidient Movement and Peter Obi for the journey we’ve shared since day one. I joined this cause on my own terms and threw all my energy into supporting it, even in the face of intimidation, threats, and humiliation. However, recent political fallout in the North and the confusion around alliances—especially the role of the Kwankwasiyya movement—have made me realise we lack the structure and committed thinkers needed to defend our votes at every level. For these reasons, I am officially withdrawing my support and redirecting my focus elsewhere. I appreciate every memory and wish the movement well going forward.
