Vivienne Jolie Seeks to Drop ‘Pitt’ from Her Name

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, the 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, has filed to legally remove “Pitt” from her surname. Court documents show she wants to be known simply as Vivienne Marcheline Jolie for personal reasons. She already used Jolie professionally, appearing as Vivienne Jolie in the Playbill for the Broadway production of The Outsiders, which she helped produce alongside her mother. Vivienne joins sister Shiloh, who recently got court approval to drop “Pitt,” while siblings Zahara and Maddox have also pursued similar name changes. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finalized their divorce in late 2024 but remain in a legal dispute over their French winery, Château Miraval.
