71-Year-Old Cleric Found Dead in Ondo Hotel Hours Before Installation

A 71-year-old cleric was found dead in his hotel room in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State. He had travelled there to be crowned Head Prayer Warrior Father of his Cherubim and Seraphim Church. Family and church members raised the alarm when he failed to show up for the ceremony at Ogo Orimolade C&S Church in Okerigbo. His body was moved to a mortuary in Ikare-Akoko before a formal medical certificate of death was issued. The sudden discovery sparked concerns over whether proper procedures were followed. Relatives petitioned the police, prompting a full-scale investigation. The Ondo State Police Command confirmed that three people are in custody.
