Ayoyinka explained that the Papa Ajasco name is owned by Wale Adenuga Productions, preventing him from using the character for endorsements. After his interview went viral, well-wishers sent donations and entertainer King Mitchy offered financial support. Wale Adenuga Productions soon described his claims as misleading. The company said they provided him with housing and quality vehicles, paid industry-standard rates, and noted his retirement benefits as a former civil servant. Actor Pa James also affirmed a positive relationship with the producer and denied any unpaid dues. Facing trademark restrictions, Ayoyinka has rebranded himself as 'Bondu Alaska' to continue his work under a new identity.
