Only Osimhen Can Break My Süper Lig Scoring Record, Says Ex-Galatasaray Star

Former Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne believes only Napoli’s Victor Osimhen can surpass his single-season goal record in Turkey’s Süper Lig. Diagne set the mark with 30 goals in 2018–19 while at Kasımpaşa and Galatasaray. He told a Turkish newspaper he is confident the record will stand, saying no one but his friend Osimhen could possibly overtake it. ‘They probably won’t be able to break it,’ he added. This season Osimhen has scored 15 times in 22 appearances despite injury setbacks. Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has 22 goals as the league season reaches its climax, while Galatasaray clinched their fourth straight league crown.
