Iloenyosi Appoints Onuchukwu and Thomas to Lead South East NFF Campaign
Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi, Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, has named two football veterans to coordinate his bid for the South East seat on the Nigeria Football Federation board. Olisa Onuchukwu, former international and Secretary General of the All Nigerian Football Players Union, will drive stakeholder engagement in the South East. Ayodele Thomas, ex-NWFL board member and FIFA-licensed agent, will oversee outreach in the South West. These strategic appointments highlight a focus on grassroots development, player welfare, and stronger regional representation within the NFF. Both coordinators will mobilize support and share Iloenyosi’s vision across the zones. The campaign has picked up momentum after endorsement by former NFF President Amaju Pinnick. The federation elections are scheduled for later this year.
