Tinubu Commends NDLEA for Dismantling $360m Nigerian-Mexican Drug Syndicate

Tinubu Commends NDLEA for Dismantling $360m Nigerian-Mexican Drug Syndicate

President Tinubu has praised the NDLEA after it dismantled a Nigerian-Mexican drug syndicate in a cross-border operation. The agency seized chemicals and illicit drugs valued at over $360 million following weeks of intelligence gathering and close collaboration with international partners. Tinubu commended the bravery and professionalism of NDLEA operatives under Chairman Marwa. He urged them to remain vigilant and called on all Nigerians to report suspicious activities in their communities. He warned that drug trafficking poses a grave threat to youth and national security. He emphasized that fighting narcotics is everyone’s responsibility and affirmed that organised crime will face the full force of the law.
