Considering Emigration: Seeking Advice on Buying Land in Gabon
Nigeria has become too unsafe for me to live in or even visit briefly. I plan to sell my holdings and emigrate indefinitely. As an EU citizen at heart, I’d rather stay in West or Central Africa than endure harsh winters. I’ve ruled out Gambia and Ghana and am now focused on Gabon for its stability and natural beauty. Libreville is known as one of Africa’s safest, cleanest capitals. I’m drawn to Gabon’s forests, parks and rivers. My goal is a two-bedroom house on one or two acres in a rural village, still within reach of the city. I don’t yet speak French. I’d appreciate any insights from those familiar with Gabon. What might land and home prices look like in such areas?
