I Finished Peer-e-Kamil: Does It Deserve Its Praise?

I just finished reading Peer-e-Kamil, and I can see why it is widely recommended. It is more than a romance novel. The story explores faith, love, personal growth and the search for purpose. The two main characters face very different struggles. They make mistakes, learn painful lessons and gradually change. That imperfect journey made them feel believable to me. For those who have read it, which character did you connect with most? What was your favourite part, and do you think the novel deserves its reputation?
