The N-Power team met with the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) in Abuja to reaffirm its dedication to empowering young Nigerians. They emphasized the need for increased funding, transparent processes, and stronger grassroots mobilization to boost the programme’s impact. CYMS Director-General Obinna Nwaka outlined the committee’s extensive network across states, local government areas, and wards. Discussions focused on partnering with civil society groups, NGOs, and media platforms to amplify success stories and drive awareness. Participants also linked youth engagement to broader goals like economic self-reliance and national security, especially ahead of upcoming elections. N-Power National Programme Manager Dr. Nsikat Nsikak Okan addressed stipend delays and assured stakeholders that direct payment systems and verification checks would improve transparency.
