Man United Thrash Rosenborg 5-0 as Carrington Academy Stars Shine
Manchester United responded to their Wrexham defeat with a 5-0 pre-season win over Rosenborg, as the club’s academy graduates dominated the second half. Shea Lacey, Jacob Devaney, Harry Amass and Ethan Williams were all on target, while Amass added an assist. Jayden Kamason also impressed after the break with two assists and energetic wing play. I still have questions about Michael Carrick’s use of players in unfamiliar positions, including Leny Yoro at right-back and Devaney at centre-back. However, the young players’ composure, movement and confidence on the ball gave United supporters plenty to be excited about.
