Premier League Clubs Pursue Nnadi After Tough Marseille Debut

Premier League Clubs Pursue Nnadi After Tough Marseille Debut

English clubs are tracking Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi after a difficult start at Olympique Marseille, according to reports. The 22-year-old has struggled for game time since his move from Belgian side Zulte Waregem in January. He did start Marseille’s last four Ligue 1 matches, showing signs of improvement under the coaching staff. Interest from the Premier League is growing and the appointment of a new head coach will be crucial in deciding Nnadi’s future. He remains under contract in France until 2030. Nnadi’s performances also earned him a recall to the Super Eagles. He featured in the recent Unity Cup and impressed in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Poland.

It's surprising to see top English clubs chase a midfielder who has barely featured since his January switch.

I'm not convinced he's ready for Premier League pressure yet; a handful of substitute outings doesn't prove his quality at that level.

A short loan spell in a less competitive league could give him the game time and confidence he clearly needs.
