Why a National TV Invite Isn’t an APC Appeal: Clearing the Misrepresentation

Why a National TV Invite Isn’t an APC Appeal: Clearing the Misrepresentation

I firmly reject the claim that my Arise TV appearance was an APC appeal. National broadcasters invite analysts, not petitioners. The APC leadership has confirmed that no candidate is finalized until INEC issues the official list, so there is no “appeal” stage to misrepresent. My track record speaks for itself. From NASFAT Youth Leader to President of the National Youth Council and CEO of Harmony Holdings, I’ve been appointed to lead critical reforms like the Kwara Ease of Doing Business Council and the SABER programme. Those roles demonstrated performance-based trust, not political favour. The title “Arewa Queen” belongs to the duly crowned Offa pageant winner, not to political operatives using it for cheap gains. Rather than deflect with insults, let us debate processes and evidence. I call on those responsible to retract their distortions and focus on issue-based discourse for the benefit of Kwara.

Do others think national TV hosts regularly invite analysts, or was this appearance really misrepresented as an APC appeal?

I dey feel you! TV shows always need analysts for context, no be APC campaign every time.

It's interesting that the APC leadership confirms candidates aren't finalized until INEC publishes the list, so appeals stage can't even begin.

That's true, we can't start any appeals before INEC officially publishes the final candidate list.

I beg to differ on dismissing every inference as misrepresentation—some viewers could still see the TV booking as indirect campaign support.

Media appearance records should include disclaimers about party affiliation to avoid future misinformation around political analysis segments.
