Ogun Police Nab Security Guard Fleeing with Stolen Motor Parts
Ogun State Police operatives have arrested a 32-year-old security guard for allegedly stealing spare parts from his employer’s premises in Ita-Asu Village, via Owode-Egba. The Owode-Egba Division received a report on May 30 that a company manager had detained the guard. Officers from the Quick Response Squad intercepted him at the Sagamu Interchange on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and recovered four air controls, two air boosters, two engine seats and two fuel pumps. The suspect reportedly admitted to the theft during questioning. Police secured the items as exhibits and have kept him in custody pending further investigation. He will be charged to court when the probe concludes.
