The Opposition’s Predictable Election-Year Routine

I’ve noticed a pattern: in the first three years after an election, the opposition often wastes time chasing shadows instead of offering solutions. Nationwide protests fizzle out, coup plots get foiled, and claims of religious persecution frequently fall flat. With elections just a year away, they suddenly remember their mission to “take back” the country. But take it back from whom? From the very citizens who defended our nation when others wanted to sow discord. Some will even don a metaphorical lipstick and charm the same people they spent years insulting—all in the name of winning votes.

Rather than chasing coups claims, the opposition could draft clear policy proposals on education and healthcare to win genuine public support.
