Your Skill Won't Make Money Until It Solves a Problem

Being good at something does not automatically mean it will make you money. You may be able to write, design, teach, edit videos, cook, conduct research or manage social media, yet still struggle financially. The missing piece may be the business side of the skill. A skill becomes valuable when it solves a problem people are willing to pay to fix. The path is simple: skill, problem, solution, offer, then customer. For instance, graphic design is a skill, but many business owners are not searching for a designer. They want social media graphics that make their pages look professional and help them attract customers. Sometimes, the next step is not learning another skill. It is learning how to position what you already know, reach the right audience and turn it into a useful offer. Affiliate marketing can be one way to learn this by matching genuinely useful products with people who need them.
