Community Leaders Praise SUBEB’s Educational Support in Yewa North
Community leaders in Igbokofi and Oke-Ola have commended the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board for its sustained efforts to improve basic education across the state. The praise followed a monitoring exercise at AUD Primary School, Ijoun, where the board’s actions were closely reviewed. The SUBEB Chairman expressed appreciation for the local communities’ engagement, especially the support of Parents Club teachers who complement the existing staff. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring that every child has access to quality education. In response, a community representative thanked the board for its visit and promised ongoing cooperation with government initiatives. Other schools visited included YNLG Primary School in Saala, both campuses of St. Paul’s African Church Primary School in Kesan and Agbado, Zumuratul Islamiyya Primary Schools in Akute, and several primary schools in Ifo.
