Outrage in Nasarawa APC Primary as Political Thugs Allegedly Ambush Prof Dandaura

Nasarawa Youths Vanguard has condemned the attempted abduction and intimidation of Professor Emmanuel Dandaura during the statewide APC primary. The group calls the ambush a direct attack on democracy, civic freedoms and citizen dignity. They say unknown hoodlums in a white Hilux blocked the respected academic after voting and tried to force him to back demands for altering the result. Professor Dandaura refused and reminded them that elections must reflect party members’ will. The organisation has urged security agencies to investigate, arrest and prosecute all those involved. It warned that failure to act within 48 hours will lead to legal proceedings and decried false social media narratives about the incident.
