What Does “The Prince of This World” Find in Your Life?

John 14:30 says: “The prince of this world is coming, and he has nothing in me.” As Jesus approached the crucifixion, He told His disciples that the devil would find no claim or foothold in Him. This is a call for Christians to examine their lives while there is still time. Believers should turn away from sin, including greed, unforgiveness, bitterness, dishonesty, sexual immorality, hypocrisy, malice, backbiting and idolatry. Rather than wait until the end of life, we should seek God daily, repent sincerely and live in obedience. May God help us to keep our hearts free from anything that gives the enemy a claim over us, in Jesus’ name.
