NPFL Sets May 24 as 2025/26 Season Finale
The Nigeria Premier Football League will close the 2025/26 season on May 24 as planned. A break this weekend is booked for the NFF President Cup window. This slot was built into the calendar to prevent mid-season disruptions. NPFL COO Davidson Owumi said the league worked closely with the NFF Competitions Department to maintain fixture fidelity. Matchday 36 is now May 3 and Matchday 37 on May 10, followed by another cup window on May 16 and 17. All clubs will then return to complete the final round on Sunday, May 24.
