Falconets Drawn in Pot 2 with USA and Canada for 2026 U-20 Women’s World Cup
Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, have been placed in Pot 2 for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup draw. The ceremony takes place this Friday at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, Poland. Joining the Falconets in Pot 2 are the USA, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, and New Zealand. Nigeria earned its spot as one of Africa’s four representatives after strong performances in the qualification rounds. Head coach Moses Aduku and team administrator Kelechi Omeke will attend the draw as Nigeria prepares to compete from September 5 to September 27 across Łódź, Katowice, Sosnowiec, and Bielsko-Biała.
