Iheanacho’s Brace Secures Celtic’s Spot in Scottish Cup Final

Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to score twice in extra time as Celtic cruised past St Mirren 6-2 and booked their place in the Scottish Cup final. Celtic led 2-0 at full time through goals from Daizen Maeda and Anthony Ralston. St Mirren fought back with two strikes from Mikaël Mandron to level the tie and force extra time. Iheanacho restored Celtic’s advantage in the 96th minute and added a second five minutes later. The Nigerian forward has now netted six goals across all competitions this season.

Celtic's dominance seems clear, but conceding two goals to St Mirren indicates defensive lapses.

Celtic should fine-tune their defense before the final and maybe rotate more players to maintain energy levels.
