True, they seem to downplay Clayface's origin and powers so viewers stay curious about his shape-shifting triggers and backstory.
The teaser's lighting and subtle facial distortions stand out, but I'm not convinced they reveal anything new beyond standard villain hooks.
I don't think every teaser needs to tease major plot twists; sometimes a bit of mystery is enough to keep us hooked.
