Besiktas Hold Out for €10m as Saudi Side’s €7m Bid for Ndidi Falls Short
Besiktas have rejected a €7 million offer from Saudi club Al Diriyah for Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi. The Turkish side is seeking about €10 million for the 29-year-old midfielder. Ndidi signed a three-year deal with Besiktas in August 2025 after leaving Leicester City. He played 31 times in 2025/26, contributing two goals and one assist, and was named vice-captain soon after his arrival. Manchester United reportedly considered Ndidi as a potential Casemiro replacement but did not follow through with an offer. Besiktas, however, remain confident other suitors will meet their valuation. If a move goes through at €10 million, Ndidi’s cumulative transfer fees would top €35 million, building on the sums paid by Genk and Leicester in his earlier career.
