Edo Governor Okpebholo Suspends Livestock Commissioner and LPRES Coordinator

Governor Monday Okpebholo has approved the suspension of the Edo State Commissioner for Livestock Development, Prof Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa. Mrs Ikpikhumi Betsy Aghaku, Edo State Project Coordinator for the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project, is also suspended. A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, directed both officials to hand over all project documents and government property. They must report immediately for a full debriefing on the LPRES initiative. No further details have been released about the nature of the alleged infractions.
