Should I Leave My Skill Training Because of Constant Humiliation?

I am in my twenties and have spent more than three years learning a skill. I have gained some experience, but I still do not feel confident enough to put the skill to proper use. My biggest concern is the way the person training me treats me. He often humiliates and oppresses me at the shop, and I do not understand what I did to make him dislike me so much. The environment has become unbearable. I am considering leaving to learn another skill or starting again with someone else. Would that be a wise decision, or should I endure and complete my training where I am?

What would make you feel ready to use the skill independently: more practice, a different mentor, or clearer feedback?

Leaving immediately may not solve everything; confidence can still take time even under a kinder trainer.
