The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency reported the arrest of a 75-year-old suspect, Okebe Samuel, in Okposi community, Ebonyi State. Operatives seized 300 grammes of skunk cannabis packaged in retail sachets. A statement from the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy in Abuja said the arrest on June 7, 2026, is part of ongoing nationwide operations targeting illicit drug trafficking. Further investigations into the source and distribution network are underway.
