New Zone 2 AIG Moshood Jimoh Vows Zero Tolerance for Misconduct

Assistant Inspector-General Moshood Jimoh has officially assumed duty as the senior officer in charge of Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force. He took over on Monday, March 30, following his promotion from Commissioner of Police. Jimoh announced that erring officers will face swift disciplinary action. He also declared zero tolerance for corruption and human rights abuses. He stressed that restoring the NPF’s credibility depends on ethical conduct and respectful engagement with the public. The AIG praised the commitment of police officers and commissioners in Lagos and Ogun states. He pledged to strengthen crime prevention, detection, and community policing. He reiterated that all operations will fully comply with human rights standards and public interest guidelines.
