Mother Fights to Reunite with Special Needs Daughter Held by Ex-in-laws
A mother says her former in-laws took custody of her special needs daughter and have kept her from seeing the child for over three years. She married into a family in Ondo State, but her in-laws began accusing her of being bad luck. After two years of marriage, they allegedly tricked her into handing over her one-year-old daughter and refused to return her when the marriage collapsed. Her daughter is now five. All efforts to regain contact have failed. She even begged her ex–father-in-law, a pastor in Jos, for a photo or video but was refused. She now appeals for help from anyone who can assist her in reuniting with her child.
